About the role:
Our growing contracting organization is currently seeking to appoint an Electrical Project Manager for all our Sydney & NSW based projects. This is a career opportunity for a person experienced in Electrical trades. Must have had previous experience in Project Management 10 years.
Skills Required:
The manager will require the skills to manage a team and communicate with the clients to deliver projects with quality, on time and within the project budgets.
- Strong project management experience essential
- Ensure legislative compliance
- Ensure Organisation wide IMS system implementation by conducting system/performance audits and monitoring
- Meet or exceed budgeted margins
- Monitor and approve contract lettings, procedures and sign off on sub-contractor comparison sheets
- Coordinate the Contracts Administrator and Site Supervisor to maximize teamwork and to address project issues with tightly disciplined project meetings
- Manage and monitor monthly reports and project forecasts and control variability
Duties and responsibilities:
- Day to day management of all projects
- Monitor & project planning
- Tracking all associated cost across the various projects
- Scheduling and managing team
- The ability to lead and motivate team members
- Assist with bidding of tenders
